“Growing-up Expat”

Living outside one’s home country and culture provides an unmatched opportunity to grow as a person and a professional.  When experienced as a child, it is an opportunity that presents unique challenges in assimilation and education that are both risky and rewarding.   As an adult, life as an expatriate presents career and family challenges that can test even the most adaptable among us.  To a child every experience may be new, but accepting life as an expatriate provides adults the opportunity to grow-up all over again.

Part I: “An Expat Life through the Eyes of a Child”

Listen to the real-life experiences of expat, Robert Cormier and his son Max (13) as they take us through their expat journeys, and the challenges of repatriating back to life in the US. They will also share the results of Max’s survey of expat kids!
