HRP President's message

I am honored to be elected as the President of the Board for the Houston Relocation Professionals in 2025. Reflecting on how much our industry and this organization have evolved since my last term as HRP President 12 years ago in 2013 is remarkable. It’s hard to believe we are already in 2025, and if you are like me, every year seems to fly by faster than the last. 2024 was no exception.

As we look forward to the opportunities of 2025, we are dedicated to providing another year filled with education, networking, and community outreach for our HRP members. We're fortunate to have another incredible board this year, including six new members, all committed to advancing our strategic Pillars: Executive Team, Events, Education, Communication, Sponsorship, Membership, and Outreach.

Our corporate advisory panel was formed in 2023 and has been a huge success in not only providing new educational content but ensuring the content is relevant to the industry we serve. For 2025, we are working to expand the corporate advisory panel to gather more insights and feedback to help us continue to shape HRP with events and education that will benefit our members, allow for greater attendance at our corporate roundtables, and provide for more meaningful interaction and communication.

Outreach is integral to our mission at HRP, and we will continue to support the Candlelighters Organization. We have several events planned throughout the year to raise awareness and support for this vital cause—stay tuned for those updates.

None of this would be possible without you; our dedicated members, sponsors, and volunteers. Your passion and commitment make Houston Relocation Professionals a thriving and respected organization. I encourage each of you to get involved by attending events, volunteering, or sharing your ideas for the future. I am truly honored to serve alongside such an incredible group of professionals.
